COME OUT OF THE COLD TO LEARN HOT LATIN DANCE!

Inter-American Magnet School is excited to announce its first annual Rock the Casa Dance-A-Thon, on Saturday January 28th, 2012 at the Metro from 11 am-2pm. This is a school wide, family centered dance-a-thon fundraiser, where participants can learn a number of latin dances, enjoy dancing to the latest music with family and friends, all while raising money for Inter-American Magnet School's health and wellness initiatives.

Our entire community is invited to "Come out of the COLD to learn HOT Latin dance", and families or individuals can enjoy a fun way to dance the chill off on a cold January day. The event is open to the public. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 per family or $5 for individuals. We hope, with the the dance floor burning up, that IAMS will be able to reach its fundraising goal of $16,000 to support the Playworks program.

Students will be asked to collect pledges from neighbors, neighborhood business, relatives and friends to support them to learn latin dances like Merengue, Cha-Cha and Salsa and to stay dancing for the event.
